Loligo vulgaris

In my fifth year at Gymnasium Camphusianum, I had to finish an assignment that included cutting and researching the Lolio Vulgaris, better known as the European squid. During this period I also started developing my skills in photorealistic drawing, so I challenged myself to make my two drawings as realistic as possible to my abilities. This resulted in these two drawings.

Pig's heart

At the end of my sixth and final year at Gymnasium Camphusianum, the last project I worked on was an assignment for biology. The goal of creating this paper was to understand the transportation of oxygen and other vitale substances inside the human body. Though we weren't allowed to cut into a real human heart, we were allowed to dissect a pig's heart, since these two are quite alike. Above are three seperate drawings presented, from left to right: a frontview, frontview but cut through and backview cut open as well.
